The staff who checked us in were terrible. Not friendly, not customer oriented, close to rude
spacious rooms and fully equiped kitchen.
huge room tremendous value
Check in at 11:30 pm the lady did not seem happy to have to be checking us in at that time. We left the do not disturb sign on door as we did not need any service. But, when we got back to the hotel there were two more signs on the door. One said Sorry we missed you returned after 3:00 pm and did service while you were out. Another sign said: Housekeeping did not enter your unit today because you did not want to be disturbed. It seems they paid no attention to the do not disturb sign and came in anyway. The two signs did not make since as they contradicted themselves. Hide a bed could use a new mattress.
Our kids loved the small pool and the spa. The suites were roomy and nice for a family.
The room was spacious and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked and hotel staff were very nice.
Accomondates a family easily. Room to spread out. Great location and very affordable.
Beds could be more comfortable. Fold out couch had typical bar in back and master bed was big but sheets always coming off and we kept rolling to the center.
We spent our honeymoon at the Snow Lake Lodge 27 years ago and have visited it again several times over the years. We are never disappointed. Comfy beds, great location, a great place to stay!
This would be a perfect spot for a family vacations in which you might be budget conscious as it allows you to be fully self contained. It was like a mini-condo. Very friendly staff.
The facility was kind of old and not current in style, but it seemed that alot of hotels in Big Bear are like this. I also didn't care for the way they did the "continental breakfast." It seemed disorganized and kind of just thrown out there. But there wasnt any "food" services staff so I guess the thought was nice. Lots of kids running around, like it was a recreation room/breakfast area/as well as where you would try to check-out/in.
Had a really great time at Snow Lake, room was clean, close to attractions and reasonably priced. Close to Big Bear Lake which was awesome for Booked.neting.
The office where we checked in is not up to the standards of the rest of the facility. It needs a remodeling.
Good for family
The room that we stayed was a little spooky
The room was spacious with one king bed and one pull-out sofa plus 2 full bathrooms and kitchen.
We checked in after 4:30pm later in the evening. So, we had to travel to another business to pick up the key to the timeshare. Upon entering the room it was so hot about 85 degrees we had to keep the front door open for an hour to cool it down. If you want a traditional hotel/motel arrangement with 24 hour staff and services this is not the place for you! Our room faced the busy street so we did not sleep well all night.
Here is a list of things I like about this place. The suite is spacious which includes a master bedroom with a bathroom, TV, heater and gas fire place; a living room with a pull out queen bed, bathroom, kitchenette, washer, stove, microwave and good size fridge. One of the best thing was that the living area can be closed off from the master bedroom for more privacy for our friends. Most of all it was clean and no weird smell. It was what I expected for the price.
The suite looked outdated.
Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, good price for amenities. Having 2 fireplaces and 2 bathrooms was a nice bonus.
